Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the Nuronus platform and services. By using our services, you agree to comply with this policy. This AUP is incorporated into and subject to our Terms of Service. Violation of this policy may result in suspension or termination of your account.

2. Permitted Use

The Nuronus platform is designed for legitimate business purposes, including:

  • Managing security posture assessments for your clients
  • Conducting compliance monitoring and reporting
  • Performing vendor risk assessments
  • Generating security and compliance documentation
  • Managing multi-tenant security operations as an MSP

3. Prohibited Activities

You may not use the Nuronus platform to:

  • Violate Laws: Engage in any activity that violates applicable local, state, national, or international laws or regulations.
  • Unauthorized Access: Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the platform, other accounts, computer systems, or networks.
  • Security Violations: Breach or circumvent any security or authentication measures, or probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system or network.
  • Interference: Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the platform or the data contained therein.
  • Malicious Code: Upload, transmit, or distribute any viruses, malware, worms, Trojan horses, or other malicious code.
  • Abuse: Use the platform to harass, abuse, stalk, threaten, or otherwise violate the legal rights of others.
  • Spam: Send unsolicited bulk communications, junk mail, spam, or chain letters.
  • Fraudulent Activity: Engage in any fraudulent activity, including identity theft, phishing, or financial fraud.
  • Misrepresentation: Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
  • Data Mining: Use automated systems, including bots, spiders, or scrapers, to extract data from the platform without authorization.
  • Reverse Engineering: Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the platform.
  • Resale: Resell, sublicense, or otherwise commercially exploit the platform without authorization.

4. Data and Content Guidelines

When using the platform, you are responsible for ensuring that:

  • You have the necessary rights and permissions to upload and process any data or content.
  • Your data does not contain content that is defamatory, libelous, or infringes on any intellectual property rights.
  • You handle all personal data in compliance with applicable data protection laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • You do not store or transmit any content that is illegal, harmful, or objectionable.

5. Security Requirements

To maintain the security of the platform, you must:

  • Use strong, unique passwords for your account and change them regularly.
  • Enable multi-factor authentication when available.
  • Keep your login credentials confidential and not share them with unauthorized persons.
  • Report any security vulnerabilities or incidents to us immediately.
  • Ensure that your systems and devices used to access the platform are secure and up to date.

6. Resource Usage

You agree to use the platform resources responsibly and not to engage in activities that consume excessive system resources, degrade performance for other users, or otherwise abuse the platform infrastructure. This includes but is not limited to excessive API calls, storage abuse, or any activity designed to stress-test the system without prior authorization.

7. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violation of this Acceptable Use Policy, please report it immediately to [email protected]. We take all reports seriously and will investigate and take appropriate action.

8. Enforcement

Nuronus reserves the right to investigate any suspected violations of this policy. If we determine that a violation has occurred, we may take any action we deem appropriate, including:

  • Issuing a warning
  • Temporarily suspending your account
  • Permanently terminating your account
  • Removing or disabling access to content that violates this policy
  • Reporting the activity to law enforcement authorities
  • Taking legal action to recover damages

9. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Acceptable Use Policy at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the updated policy on our website and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
